Brand and communications

In August 2009 Wire were asked to help Tower Hamlets Home to rationalise their brand and identity with a view to achieving three star status in the years ahead.
After an initial immersion phase and in-depth conversations with local residents, stakeholders and partners, Wire started to develop and define a clear purpose for the organisation ‘for residents’. This was supported with a redefined set of values and an approach that is direct, honest, mutually respectful and based on dialogue.
The supporting visual identity use the graphic of a house in it's purest, clichéd form rotates to form a directional arrow. Everything emanates from this mark and supporting dialogue boxes add additional graphic recognition. Strong, bold legible typefaces and colours are used to add strength, clarity and visibility across a wide range of materials from vehicles and clothing through to a new more inclusive newsletter that now reaches 27 neighbourhoods in the residents preferred format.
